His solo work dives deeply into original compositions that captivate audiences with a distinctive blend of acoustic piano, atmospheric textures, and soaring emotional crescendos. Rooted in improvisation yet grounded in melody, Wirtz’s sound draws from jazz, blues, classical, folk, New Orleans traditions, and ’90s alternative—creating a voice that is both expansive and unmistakably his own. His national television appearances on The Late Show with David Letterman, CBS Early Morning Show, Ellen, and Lopez Tonight (George Lopez) further showcase his remarkable versatility and broad musical reach.
Shane Endsley – Trumpeter, drummer, and founding member of the Grammy-nominated prog-jazz powerhouse Kneebody. Shane brings fearless creativity and a résumé that includes work with Ravi Coltrane, Jason Mraz, and Ani DiFranco.
On bass, Charles Parker Mertens of the Colorado-based jam-grass sensation Rapidgrass adds virtuosic command across upright bass, electric bass, and cello. A highly sought-after multi-genre musician, Mertens has performed with internationally acclaimed artists including Thievery Corporation, Les Nubians, and Cyril Neville, earning recognition for his authenticity, technical brilliance, and stylistic depth.
Together as a trio, these musicians create something rare: a fluid, spontaneous musical conversation driven by trust, risk-taking, and inspired interplay. Roles shift. Instruments trade hands.
